Story Family Medicine is a Medical Practice opened in 2012 by Dr. Story as a Solo Physician. Dr. Story and his Office Team, work together to offer the best medical care and resources available. We also reserve daily appointment openings for any urgent or chronic visits if needed.
Our office also provides assistance with additional health services such as lab testing, procedures, vaccinations, counseling and some education. We make sure that your health insurance benefits are utilized correctly and the best resources available are tailored to your health insurance coverage.
Dr. Story is a Family Physician that practices Concierge-Style Primary Care without the cost. His special interests include chronic care management, preventive medicine and personalized health treatment plans. He believes in providing the personal experience of an Old-Fashioned Family Physician. For his patients, Dr. Curtis Story takes his own office calls after hours and on the weekends.
Dr. Story admits his own patients to Fawcett Memorial Hospital and helps in coordination with their hospital stay as well as their aftercare. Once discharged from the hospital, Dr. Story helps in coordination and transitioning with aftercare. He provides home visits for the elderly and other home-bound circumstances. He also visits local Independent and Assisted Living Facilities.
Dr. Story received his Medical Degree from the University of Louisville School of Medicine in May 2007 then completing his Residency at the University of Louisville in June 2010. He received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Biology in 2003. He was a Hospital Corpsman and Medical Technologist for the United States Navy.
After he completed his Doctorate and Residency he was recruited from the
University and relocated to Florida, where he started practicing at a local Physician Group. He then decided he wanted to continue on his own, as a solo physician and open his own medical practice.
Story Family Medicine was opened in July 2012 and has been ever since.
